Research and project development China in Africa in China for Paradox

January 2019 – June 2021

Research for a proposed online visual journalism project on China-Africa relations portrayed by Chinese and African photographers and investigative journalists in collaboration with FOTEA (Uganda), AAF (Nigeria) and independent Chinese curators and makers.

In collaboration with CBK Zuidoost for the exhibition Welcome Today in the Stedelijk Museum; exhibition with work from workshops with Amsterdam students combined work by Ad van Denderen and Lebohang Tlali; mobile photo studio at Kwaku Festival- high school students portraying visitors; Kwaku Conversation in Bijlmerpark theater; South African secondary school students and teachers from Welkom and Thabong visit the Netherlands with curated program and photo studio in the Stedelijk Museum.
